1. Shooting will be in timed details Method 2. Six arrows in Four minutes.
2. Awards will be according to entries.
3. Target list and Results will be emailed out and posted on our website, L&RCAA and EMAS websites.
4. All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB or a World Archery member organisation and will be asked to produce their membership cards when signing in. As we shoot on a sports field all arrows you bring on the field will need to be counted in and out at registration.
5. Archery GB dress regulations apply as per rule 307.
6. Record Status tournaments are liable for drug testing, and competitors approached to give
samples must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Archers under 18, a parent
or guardian signing the entry signifies their consent to their child being drug tested if
approached.
7. Refreshments will be available to purchase during the day.
8. Melton Mowbray AC or Syston Rugby Club cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to equipment
or personal possessions
9 .Please note that under the Archery GB Child and Vulnerable Persons Protection Policy requires that any
person wishing to engage in any type of photography, filming or videoing must register their intent
before carrying out any such activity. Please sign the register that will be available at the registration
desk No unauthorised photography/filming will be permitted.

DRUGS TESTING: Archers at World Record Status Tournaments may be liable for drugs testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply. Non compliance will be treated as a positive result. Parents/Guardians must sign the relevant box on the entry forms giving consent for junior archers (under 18’s) to be drug tested if approached.

PHOTOGRAPHY: In accordance with AGB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on the day.

REFRESHMENTS: Bacon/sausage/burgers are available throughout the day as well as homemade cakes, teas, coffees and cold beverages.

RESULTS: Results will be available on the Derwent Bowmen Web Site.

recording the highest score; the winner to be known as the Captain of
Sherwood Forest.
THE SILVER ARROW for the highest score recorded by the recurve
archer of the sex opposite to that which wins the Golden Arrow; the
winner to be known as the Lieutenant of Sherwood Forest.
THE BRONZE ARROW for the recurve archer runner-up, provided he
or she is not the winner of the Silver Arrow
THE MACKNESS QUIVER for the highest score recorded by a
Nottinghamshire gentleman recurve
THE MAID MARION CUP for the highest score recorded by a
Nottinghamshire Lady recurve.
THE ROBIN HOOD TROPHY for the highest score recorded by a
recurve archer of either sex who has never won a trophy, medal or prize
(on pure score) at an open tournament.
SIX BATH AND WEST HORNS for the two highest scores, one lady &
one gentleman, in 3 handicap groups. Open to all bow classes
THE STYGIAN AWARD for the highest number of blacks. Kindly
presented by the Stygian Archers. Open to all bow classes
TEAM TROPHY .Team to consist of any 4 recurve archers from one
club.
GOLDEN GOBLET Highest scoring junior recurve archer,
SILVER GOBLET Highest scoring junior recurve archer of opposite sex.
COMPOUND TROPHIES awarded to the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
LONGBOW TROPHIES awarded for the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
BAREBOW 1st place medals awarded for the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
Other Junior bow classes 1st place medals for highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
 All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB and will be asked to
produce their membership cards when signing in.
 Archery GB dress regulations in accordance with rule 307 apply.
 In compliance with Archery GB Child Protection guidelines any
person wishing to engage in any form of photography or video
must register with the Tournament Organiser.
 Light refreshment will be available.
 Wheelchair archers please state whether right or left handed.
 No refunds for cancellations will be given after the closing date.
 Neither Sherwood Archers nor Nottinghamshire Archery Society

A separate entry form is required for each event and also for the Countesthorpe Triple. Competitors are responsible for making sure that they enter each of the separate stages. Entries for the Countesthorpe Triple must be received by The Foxes on or before 11th November 2018.

Awards will be presented in each category (Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow) depending on the number of entrants and at the discretion of the The Foxes Archery Club.

Compound will shoot 3 spot faces (60cm vertical face)

Recurve, Longbow & Barebow will shoot on Single spot faces (60cm)

Recurve archers can opt to shoot on 3 spot faces. (by prior arrangement only)

Ends will consist of 3 arrows in 2 minutes

All archers will shoot two per face

Archery GB Dress Code 307 will apply all day.
