EMAS Teams get together

Mario will be running an EMAS team get together on Sunday 21st January.  County Team Managers will select a number of archers from their counties to go forward.  The format will be similar to last years event, more details to follow from Mario

The EMAS records have been updated at long last including WA Field Rounds.

The delay has not been with the EMAS Records Office ~  Carol Smith, but with me,  the webmaster getting them uploaded onto the server – I apologise for that.

2018 EMAS Inter-Counties Team 720 and H2H

The EMAS Inter-Counties Team 720 will go ahead on 6th May 2018 at Washingborough, Lincolnshire as part of their open WA720 and H2H.

The format will be slightly different from the 2017 shoot.  Counties will be asked to provide Compound and Recurve teams for the shoot in the morning.  There will also be other non team archers on the field shooting in the Open WA720.

An individual Head to Head round will be shot in the afternoon, with the Open 720 round in the morning being the qualifying/ranking round.

EMAS Intercounties 720 and Head 2 Head

The 1st EMAS Intercounties 720 and H2H is being held at Sherwood Archers on Sunday 23rd July.  This is an interncounties closed match not an open event.

Any one travelling to this event should leave plenty of time as there is a Triathalon event that will be effecting the area of National Water Sports Centre – Gunthorpe Bridge, A6097 Bingham to Oxton, Southwell and back to Gunthorpe Bridge.  There will be lots of diversions, no left or right turns etc.

The Triathalon is starting around 7-30

Lincolnshire Level 2 Coaching Course

To all Level 1 Coaches are you interested in becoming a level 2 Coach,

The Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Archery qualification has been
designed for Level 1 coaches wanting to move on from delivering
Beginners courses and taster sessions to take archers up to competition
standard or whereabouts.
This course is not designed to train performance Coaches; the latter is the
focus of County Coach.

Due to work commitments, Sue Haynes will be stepping down as EMAS Records Officer at the AGM in April.  Carol Smith from Leicestershire has kindly said that she will stand for the position in April and has kindly taken over the position in a caretaking role with immediate effect until April.
