Burton Bridge Archers – equipment stolen on Friday 19th April

Please could you pass this message on as far as you can…

Our club was broken into last night and we have lost 60+ trainer recurve bows, 300+ arrows, armguards and tabs, also 6 compound bows and 3 longbows. Please could you pass on to your members, and also to anyone on beginners courses you may be running, to be on the lookout for a surge in second hand equipment on eBay, car boots, etc. Please let us know if you should spot anything.

Luckily we had a dozen bows with arrows etc at a local school for a small Saturday beginners course, so with those and loans from members we were able to still run our Open Day this afternoon, but we need to try and replace the rest of the kit in time for our beginners course starting the 30th of this month… on the plus side we raised £225 for the local MENCAP Crest Group!

If you have any help. please contact  by Email Geoff Fisher – Burton Bridge Archers Club Secretary.

To further help the club to get back on their feet, please encourage all of your archers to fill their shoots this year.
