An introduction to field archery
In the morning session we will be shooting a WA12 round unmarked distances set to Archery GB advanced novice level.
In the afternoon we will be shooting a WA 3D round with 12 x 3D targets of mixed animal types and varying distances with nothing to challenging
RED Pegs – sighted bows, compound and recurve,
Blue Pegs—Unsighted bows, Barebow, Traditional, AFB or English Longbows.
White Pegs- junior pegs will be available.
WA12 round is 3 arrows from your assigned pegs at a field paper face scoring 1 to 6. (And M)
WA 3D round is 2 arrows from your assigned pegs at a foam 3D target scoring 11,10,8,5 zones and miss. Horn or hoof will not count.
NO RANGE FINDERS!! That’s the skill of field.
