All distances will be shot in 2 details with 6 arrows in 4 minutes.

All bow types will shoot at 122cm faces for their 2 longest distances.

All compound and recurve archers will shoot their 2 shortest distances at individual reduced (6 zone) 80cm faces.

All longbow and barebow archers will shoot their 2 shortest distances at standard (10 zone) 80cm faces.

 

Notes

Please ensure that you have proof of current / valid Archery GB membership card at registration.

 

This is a Record Status shoot.  Liability to drug testing applies.  Competitors approached to give samples must comply.  Written parental consent must be provided for Juniors

 

GNAS dress regulations will apply (Rule 307).

 

Equipment inspection will be carried out by the judges prior to assembly

 

DCAA, Anchor Bowmen and the tournament organisers do not accept liability for personal injury, loss or damage to visitors, competitor’s equipment or possessions.

 

If you wish to take photographs during the competition, please register at reception upon signing in.

 

Only those archers affiliated through DCAA are eligible for DCAA awards

In accordance with GNAS Child Protection policy all wishing to take photographs or image recording must register with the Tournament Organiser.
If you are shooting all carbon arrows, you must inform the Tournament Organiser before you shoot. All arrow must be counted in and counted out.It is the Archers responsibility to ensure that all lost arrows are found before you leave the shooting ground.
Belvoir Archers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles at this event.
Drug testing. The World Record Status Shoot will be liable for drug testing, competitors approached to give samples must comply as refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents/legal guardian of competitors under the age of 18 must sign the entry form giving consent to drug testing if required.
Regrettably dogs are not allowed on the field.
No cars are to be parked on the side of the road due to TARMAC lorries requiring access to the TARMAC Cement Works all day. Car Parking Attendants will be on hand to park you in the shooting field behind the tent line area.

Awards: will be made as follows:.
Medals will be awarded in each recognised Archery GB division on an Open basis, and will be
dependent on the number of entries in the division.
 1 or 2 entries – 1 medal
 3 to 4 entries – 2 medals
 5 or more entries – 3 medals
Shoot format and course: The course will comprise 24 targets (The Merlin course has 28
targets, but only 24 will be used)
All Juniors may shoot the appropriate peg for their age and bow class, or may shoot from a
colour of peg that is of greater distance than that specified. For the awards all Juniors age groups
will be taken together in each division.
The pegs for each classification and age group will be as follows:
 Senior Recurve and Compound Limited and Unlimited will shoot RED pegs
 Senior Barebow, Traditional, Longbow and American Flat Bow will shoot BLUE pegs
 Juniors (both Boys and Girls) to shoot the appropriate pegs as follows:
o Recurve Freestyle Juniors – U18 Red Pegs, U15 Blue Pegs U12 White Pegs
Barebow, Traditional, Longbow, American Flat Bow Juniors and Compound
Barebow – U18 Blue Pegs, U15 Blue Pegs U12 White Pegs
o Compound Limited and Unlimited Juniors – U18 Red Pegs, U15 Red Pegs U12

All butts on the course will be layered foam.
Refreshments: Hot and cold refreshments will be available to purchase and this will again be
confirmed on the Target List
Drug testing: ‘Record Status Shoots will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to
give samples must comply: If they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. The
signature of a Parent or Legal Guardian consenting to a junior archer being tested for drugs is
required if they will not be attending (NOTE This must be Parent or Legal Guardian – a senior
archer accompanying the child cannot give this consent.). An address should also be provided
where they can be contacted in case of problems. (See Entry Form)
Photography: Forms will be available for completion on the day for registering the name and
contact details of anyone wishing to use photographic/filming equipment (including mobile phone
cameras).

NOTES
1. All archers must be affiliated to AGB or a FITA member association and will be asked to

2. AGB dress regulations in accordance with rule 307 apply, and the timing of the shooting will be
to 304(f)(i) Method 2.
3. Record Status shoots will be liable to drug testing, and competitors approached to give
samples must comply; refusal will be treated as a positive result. Juniors’ entry forms must be
signed by a parent or guardian to signify their consent to their child being tested if
approached.
4. Under the provisions within the AGB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those
who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on
arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not
take place, AGB, The Tournament Organiser and working party cannot be held responsible for
breaches of this code. We therefore request that you report any unauthorised photography
directly to the Tournament Organiser.

8. All arrows must be detectable along their full length, except for wooden arrows for health &
safety reasons as this tournament will be shot on a shared field. The use or all carbon arrows
is not permitted at this venue. Any missing arrows should be reported to the Senior Judge and
must be found before leaving the tournament field.
9. Record and tassel claims should be made before leaving the shoot.
10. Each archer must receive instruction in clout shooting prior to the tournament; if necessary,
instruction will be given on the day before shooting starts.
11. Target list will be posted on the day. Results will be posted on Mercia Archers and EMAS
websites.

This event may be shot as an individual competition and/or as Stage 2 of the 2019 – 2020 Countesthorpe
Triple. The Countesthorpe Triple will be shot over three rounds – The Foxes Portsmouth, The Foxes
Worcester and LAOFAC WA18m. A separate entry form is required for each event and also for the
Countesthorpe Triple. Competitors are responsible for making sure that they enter each of the separate
stages. Entries for the Countesthorpe Triple must be received by The Foxes before the end of the
Portsmouth competition on 10th November 2019.

If you wish to take photographs or videos during the tournament, please register on arrival. If you do not
want to be included in any photographs or videos, please let the registration desk know when you arrive.
Awards will be presented for Lady and Gentlemen archers in four categories (Recurve, Compound,
Barebow, Longbow) depending on the number of entrants and at the discretion of The Foxes Archery
Club. Other bow styles will be included in one of those four categories for the purpose of awards, but
will be a separate category in the results. Handicap Adjusted Awards will be given to the highest placed
archers across the combined categories who have not been given a place award in any of the four
categories above (and who have notified the organiser of their current handicap before they start
shooting).

All archers must show a valid ArcheryGB membership card when signing in to the tournament and may only shoot with proof of membership.
ArcheryGB dress regulation 307 will apply.
All archers under 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Carer for the duration of the shoot.
Data Protection – When you enter competitions the following information may be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors for example target lists and results may be published: First Name, Surname, Gender, Bow Style, Date of Birth/Age category, Email, Address, Phone Number, Club (and ID), County (and ID), Region (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info.
In accordance with ArcheryGB Child Protection policy all wishing to take photographs or image recording must register with the Tournament Organiser.
If you are shooting all carbon arrows, you must inform the Tournament Organiser before you shoot. All arrow must be counted in and counted out.It is the Archers responsibility to ensure that all lost arrows are found before you leave the shooting ground.
Belvoir Archers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles at this event.
Drug testing. The World Record Status Shoot will be liable for drug testing, competitors approached to give samples must comply as refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents/legal guardian of competitors under the age of 18 must sign the entry form giving consent to drug testing if required.
Regrettably dogs are not allowed on the field.
No cars are to be parked on the side of the road due to TARMAC lorries requiring access to the TARMAC Cement Works all day. Car Parking Attendants will be on hand to park you in the shooting field behind the tent line area.
Refreshments will be available from 7-30am until end of the lunch break.
