To be held at Washingborough Playing Field, Fen Road, Washingborough,

Lincoln, LN4 1AB

Saturday:  WA 70, WA 60, WA 50 & VI and Junior Metrics to be shot in ends of 6 arrows in 4 minutes under traffic light control, with 4 archers per boss shooting in 2 details

Compounds will be shooting on individual 80cm 6 zone faces on foam four legged bosses at 50m

Recurve will shoot on 122cm faces on foam targets at all distances

Assembly at 08.30 – Practice to  follow

Only the top 32 ranked archers of the WA70, WA60 and WA50 will go through to the Head to Head

Sunday WA 1440 and Junior Metrics shot in ends of 6 arrows in 4 minutes in the morning,                      and 3 arrows in 2 minutes in the afternoon, under traffic light control with 4 archers per boss shooting in 2 details, shooting on 122cm faces in the morning and full 80cm faces in the afternoon

Equipment inspection: Before Assembly.  Dress: GNAS Dress regulation rule 307 will apply.

 

Drug testing: Record status shoots are liable for Drug Testing. Any competitor approached to give a sample for testing MUST comply. If they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Where an entry form contains one or more junior entries, the parent or legal guardian of each junior must countersign the entry form.

 

Awards:

Saturday 1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th  Male, Female, compound, recurve and Male, Female Cadet recurve and junior metrics if entries permit.

Sunday  County and Open awards – 1st, 2nd, 3rd,  Male, Female, compound & recurve and Male, Female Junior metrics compound & recurve if entries permit

 

Entry fees: Saturday, Adult £15, Junior £13     Sunday  Adult £16, Junior £14

or if competing both days Adult £28.00, Junior£24. (cheques made payable to Lincoln Archers )

 

Camping and Caravanning: is available Friday and Saturday nights

Fresh water, toilets and showers are available. Fees are £5 per night.  Please indicate on the entry form which nights you require and include payment with your entry fee.

All distances will be shot in 2 details with 6 arrows in 4 minutes.

All bow types will shoot at 122cm faces for their 2 longest distances.

All compound and recurve archers will shoot their 2 shortest distances at individual reduced (6 zone) 80cm faces.

All longbow and barebow archers will shoot their 2 shortest distances at standard (10 zone) 80cm faces.

 

Notes

Please ensure that you have proof of current / valid Archery GB membership card at registration.

 

This is a Record Status shoot.  Liability to drug testing applies.  Competitors approached to give samples must comply.  Written parental consent must be provided for Juniors

 

GNAS dress regulations will apply (Rule 307).

 

Equipment inspection will be carried out by the judges prior to assembly

 

DCAA, Anchor Bowmen and the tournament organisers do not accept liability for personal injury, loss or damage to visitors, competitor’s equipment or possessions.

In accordance with GNAS Child Protection policy all wishing to take photographs or image recording must register with the Tournament Organiser.
If you are shooting all carbon arrows, you must inform the Tournament Organiser before you shoot. All arrow must be counted in and counted out.It is the Archers responsibility to ensure that all lost arrows are found before you leave the shooting ground.
Belvoir Archers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles at this event.
Drug testing. The World Record Status Shoot will be liable for drug testing, competitors approached to give samples must comply as refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents/legal guardian of competitors under the age of 18 must sign the entry form giving consent to drug testing if required.
Regrettably dogs are not allowed on the field.
No cars are to be parked on the side of the road due to TARMAC lorries requiring access to the TARMAC Cement Works all day. Car Parking Attendants will be on hand to park you in the shooting field behind the tent line area.

NOTES
1. All archers must be affiliated to AGB or a FITA member association and will be asked to
produce their membership cards when signing in.
2. AGB dress regulations in accordance with rule 307 apply, and the timing of the shooting will be
to 304(f)(i) Method 2.
3. Record Status shoots will be liable to drug testing, and competitors approached to give
samples must comply; refusal will be treated as a positive result. Juniors’ entry forms must be
signed by a parent or guardian to signify their consent to their child being tested if
approached.
4. Under the provisions within the AGB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those
who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on
arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not
take place, AGB, The Tournament Organiser and working party cannot be held responsible for
breaches of this code. We therefore request that you report any unauthorised photography
directly to the Tournament Organiser.

8. All arrows must be detectable along their full length, except for wooden arrows for health &
safety reasons as this tournament will be shot on a shared field. The use or all carbon arrows
is not permitted at this venue. Any missing arrows should be reported to the Senior Judge and
must be found before leaving the tournament field.
9. Record and tassel claims should be made before leaving the shoot.
10. Each archer must receive instruction in clout shooting prior to the tournament; if necessary,
instruction will be given on the day before shooting starts.
11. Target list will be posted on the day. Results will be posted on Mercia Archers and EMAS
websites.
12. Cheques payable to “East Midlands Archery Society”.
13. Entries, with S.A.E. for Results lists if required, should be sent by 20th October 2019 to the
