recording the highest score; the winner to be known as the Captain of
Sherwood Forest.
THE SILVER ARROW for the highest score recorded by the recurve
archer of the sex opposite to that which wins the Golden Arrow; the
winner to be known as the Lieutenant of Sherwood Forest.
THE BRONZE ARROW for the recurve archer runner-up, provided he
or she is not the winner of the Silver Arrow
THE MACKNESS QUIVER for the highest score recorded by a
Nottinghamshire gentleman recurve
THE MAID MARION CUP for the highest score recorded by a
Nottinghamshire Lady recurve.
THE ROBIN HOOD TROPHY for the highest score recorded by a
recurve archer of either sex who has never won a trophy, medal or prize
(on pure score) at an open tournament.
SIX BATH AND WEST HORNS for the two highest scores, one lady &
one gentleman, in 3 handicap groups. Open to all bow classes
THE STYGIAN AWARD for the highest number of blacks. Kindly
presented by the Stygian Archers. Open to all bow classes
TEAM TROPHY Team to consist of any 4 recurve archers from one
club.
GOLDEN GOBLET Highest scoring junior recurve archer,
SILVER GOBLET Highest scoring junior recurve archer of opposite sex.
COMPOUND TROPHIES awarded to the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
LONGBOW TROPHIES awarded for the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
BAREBOW 1st place medals awarded for the highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
Other Junior bow classes 1st place medals for highest scores recorded by
both sexes.
• All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB and will be asked to
produce their membership cards when signing in.
• Archery GB dress regulations in accordance with rule 307 apply.
• In compliance with Archery GB Child Protection guidelines any
person wishing to engage in any form of photography or video
must register with the Tournament Organiser.

If you are shooting all carbon arrows, you must inform the Tournament Organiser before you shoot. All arrow must be counted in and counted out.It is the Archers responsibility to ensure that all lost arrows are found before you leave the shooting ground.

 

Belvoir Archers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles at this event.

 

 

Regrettably dogs are not allowed on the field.

 

No cars are to be parked on the side of the road due to TARMAC lorries requiring access to the TARMAC Cement Works all day.  Car Parking Attendants will be on hand to park you in the shooting field behind the tent line area.

Event Format: Archery GB rules and Method 2 timing will apply.

 

Awards: Awards subject to the number of entrants for each category.  Certificates are given to winning archers shooting rounds out of category.

 

Juniors: Ages for junior archers are as on the day of the competition. An archer may compete for an award shooting a round in a higher age group than their own.

 

Dress: Record status has been granted for this event, competitors must comply with Archery GB dress regulations – rule 307.

 

Drug Testing: Record status tournaments are liable for drug testing; competitors approached to give samples must comply.  Refusal to comply will be treated as a positive result.  It is a requirement of record status events that parents/guardians of juniors entering the WA1440/Metric I-V rounds must sign the entry form to give consent for drug testing.

 

Refreshments: Tea, Coffee and Biscuits will be provided in the clubhouse. Please bring your own mug.

 

 

 

Photography: The provisions within the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adult’s policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on arrival.  Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not take place, Archery GB, the Tournament Organiser and working party cannot be held responsible for breaches of this code.  We therefore request that you report any unauthorised photography directly to the Tournament Organiser.

The Caswell Series: The Caswell series is made up of three events that take place during the outdoor season, with overall trophies for Northants archers given out at the county AGM later in the year.

Drug testing. The World Record Status Shoot will be liable for drug testing, competitors approached to give samples must comply as refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents/legal guardian of competitors under the age of 18 must sign the entry form giving consent to drug testing if required.
Regrettably dogs are not allowed on the field.
No cars are to be parked on the side of the road due to TARMAC lorries requiring access to the TARMAC Cement Works all day. Car Parking Attendants will be on hand to park you in the shooting field behind the tent line area.

1. All archers must be affiliated to GNAS or a FITA member association and may be asked to produce their membership cards at registration
2. The entry form must be signed by a parent or guardian to signify their consent to their child taking part in the tournament
3. In view of the provisions of the GNAS protection of children and vulnerable adults policy, those wishing to use photographic/video equipment at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on arrival. No unauthorized photography will be permitted. Persons wishing not to be photographed should advise the organiser at the time of entering the competition
4. Each archer must receive instruction in Clout shooting prior to the tournament, if necessary, instruction will be given on the day before shooting starts
5. GNAS dress regulations will apply (rule 307)
6. All carbon arrows are not permitted at this venue
7. DCAA, Gresley Old Hall, and Mercia Archers do not accept any liability for personal injury, loss or damage to visitors and competitors equipment or possessions however caused

Compounds will be shooting on individual 80cm 6 zone faces on foam four legged bosses at 50m

Recurve will shoot on 122cm faces on foam targets at all distances

Assembly at 08.30 – Practice to  follow

Only the top 32 ranked archers of the WA70, WA60 and WA50 will go through to the Head to Head
